 Video games are our way to escape
reality, becoming hero or just kill
some time.
 Video games have become an
everyday part of our lives.
 A video game, also known as a
computer game, is an electronic
game that can be interacted with
using an input device, such as a
controller, keyboard, or joystick.
WHO INVENTED VIDEO
GAMES?

 William Higinbotham created
what is thought to be the first
video game. It was a very simple
tennis game, similar to the
classic 1970s video game Pong,
and it was quite a hit at a
Brookhaven National Laboratory
open house.
HISTORY
video games began in the MAINFRAMES
1950s and 1960s as computer
scientists began designing
simple games
and simulations on mi-
nicomputers and mainframes.

first commercially available video game.
