Oral Communication

Group 3
SITUATION:

One day, during a class, the teacher was giving a lesson, and as usual, the students were
taking notes. After the lesson and discussion, there was an activity that the teacher instructed
the students to do with a note that he/she would only give the instructions once. However,
some students were not paying attention to the instructions because they were busy putting
their things back in their bags like their notebook and correction tape, although they were aware
that there was an activity.
They began asking each other, "What did the teacher say?" and one student replied, "I didn't
hear it either." several of them were in the same situation, one of the students told his
classmate to ask the teacher of the instructions again, he looked around and saw that most
students had already started, so they decided not to bother asking for fear of being scolded.
They continued discussing among themselves until a lot of time had been wasted.
SITUATION:

Finally, they realized that they needed to clarify the instructions with the teacher
because they were running out of time, and if they kept delaying, they might not be able to
complete the activity. So, they mustered up the courage to talk to the teacher. The teacher
got upset because the students didn't listen to him/her, in the end the teacher told them
the instructions once again and reminded them that next time the students should always
listen and focus when their teacher is talking.
RESULTS OF THE COMMUNICATION:

Although the teacher's instruction was clear, some of the students

didn't get it because they were occupied during the announcement.
The students were aware of the activity but did not focus on what the
teacher is saying, resulting to confusion, another is that the student did
not communicate soon enough because they lack the courage to do so,
a lot of time has been wasted as a result
