INSTRUMENT
This study utilizes a descriptive survey questionnaire adapted from
Duckworth Grit Scale survey questionnaire and combines it with Moilanen’s
Self-Regulation Questionnaire (2017), to gather the needed data from the
respondents. The questionnaire measures the grit level of Grades four (4) to
six (6) in terms of Consistency of Interest, Perseverance of Effort, and Self-
Regulation. In terms of the academic performance of the learners, the scale
will be based on the standard grading scale used by the Department of
Education. The relationship between Grit and Academic Performance will then
be obtained.
