What is History?
History is derived from Greek noun ἱστορία
means learning. Used by the Greek
philosopher Aristotle.

History now means "the past of mankind."


it requires only a moment's reflection to
recognize that in this sense of history
cannot be reconstructed.

History includes the study of all aspects of


human past social and cultural conditions as
well as political and economic event.
