    Malware is a term used to describe any malicious
    software that is designed to disrupt your
    computer or data.

    Types of Malware:
     Virus
     Ransomware
     Trojan Horse
    Virus
    • This is a computer program that’s downloaded
    onto your computer.

    • It duplicates itself onto another part of the


    computer so that if you delete the original
    virus, you don’t know where copy or replica is.

    • It then uses up all your memory, causing your


    computer to crash.
    Step 1: Downloading the Disguised Virus onto your computer
    Step 2: Replicating Itself
    Step 3: Using up all the memory
    Ransomware

    • This is a computer program that’s downloaded


    onto your computer.

    • It gets your data and stops you from accessing


    it.

    • The perpetrators will request a ransom(a set


    amount of money). If you don’t send them money,
    they will threaten you.

    It is NOT Malware,
    It contains it.
