RESPIRAT

ORY
SYSTEM
• Air enters the nose, passes
down the back of the mouth
into the voice box and windpipe.
• The windpipe divided into two
tubes called bronchi (bronchus).
The bronchi carry the air into
lungs.
• Oxygen passes through the walls
of the lungs into the blood..
• Carbon dioxide passes from the
blood through the walls of the
lungs into the lungs.
When you inhale,
your diaphragm contracts
and moves downward. This
increases the space in your
chest cavity.

During exhalation, ribs move

down and inwards, while
diaphragm moves up to its
former position. This
reduces the size of the chest
cavity and air is pushed out
of the lungs.
CIRCULATO
RY SYSTEM
• The heart and blood vessels
make the circulatory system.
• The heart is located near the
center of the chest.
• It is made up of cardiac
muscles.
• As heart beats it pushes
blood into the arteries and
draws blood in from veins

The wastes produced by the body collect in the blood.
Excretory system eliminates waste products in the body such
as urea, uric acid, ammonia, and other waste products.
As blood passes from the kidney, a waste called as urea is
filtered along with some water. This mixture of urea and
