PUBLIC • Refers to the welfare and
SAFETY protection of the general
public. It is usually expressed
as a govermental re-
sponsibility, most state have
departments for public safety
and the primary goal of
department is prevention and
protection of the public from
danger affecting safety
division such as crime and
disaster.
 A DEGREE IN PUBLIC SAFETY
• A public safety degree can open the doors to a career that you
are passionate about . And it is what many employers-federal
agencies as well as local departments-are looking
for in job candidates

• At a high level,public safety involves protecting the public

safeguarding people from crimes and disaster, and other
potential dangers and threats.

LAW ORDER • Is a set of rules created by state
institution which make law
through authority (legal power)
of the state. A situation
characterized respect for and
obedience to the rules of
society. In modern politics law
and order also know as the war
on crime, is the approach
focusing hasher inforcement
for way to reduce crime.
• In politics, law and order refers to the demands for a
strict criminal justice system,especially in relation to to
violent and property crime,through stricter criminal
penalties.These penalties may include longer terms of
imprisonment, mandatory sentencing, three strikes laws,
and in some countries capital punishment.
• law and order argue that effectives deterrence combined
with incarceration is the most effective means of crime
prevention .
• Is a reccuring theme in political compaigns around the
world. Candidates may exaggerate or even manufacture
a problem with law and order, or characterise thier
opponents as “weak” on the issue, to generate public
support.
 THREE TYPES OF LAW
A. CRIMINAL JUSTICE -to protect people from deliberate of
reckless harm; laws directly written to limit peoples behavior to
keep society orderly and safe.

B. CIVIL LAW -to find remedies when two people come into
conflict when there is no law broken.

C. PUBLIC LAW - to guide peoples action in order to be fair

and equitable to everyone, such as constitutional law,
administrative law, statutory law.
 IMPORTANT OF LAW IN THE
SOCIETY
• The law is important because it acts as a guideline
as to what is accepted in society. Without it there
would be conflicts between social groups and
communities.
JUSTICE
• Is refers to protecting of our
human right,is an fairness in
protecting our right. It is also
includes the punisment of
wrong,a justice is a justice in
an appeals court or supreme
court.
• Justice, for many people,
refers to the fairness. But
while justice is important to
almost everyone, it means
different things to different
groups.
 • NATURAL JUSTICE - Giving
freedom to a person to do his life
or life according his nature is
natural justice.
