     Archie Roach was one of the Stolen


    Generation of Aboriginal children. He was able
    to reconnect with his Aboriginal family and his
    proud Aboriginal heritage.
     Archie Roach wrote this song in 1990.
     This song is about his personal experience.
     The album won two Aria Awards and a Human
    Rights Award - the first time a Human Rights
    award has been awarded to a songwriter.
     He died on 22 July 2022.
