STUDY TITLE
NULL HYPOTHESIS:
There is no significant association of socio-demographic and lifestyle factors with CVD.
ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS:
There is a significant association of socio-demographic and lifestyle factors with CVD.

Specific Objective:
To find out the association of socio-demographic factor with CVD
To find out the association of lifestyle factor with CVD

METHODOLOGY
Study Design : Analytic Cross-Sectional
Data Collection:
Socioeconomic and demographic data at the household level will be gathered.
We will follow the Convenience sampling method.
Face-to-face interviews with the target population will be conducted.
To create a structured questionnaire, questions from the Bangladesh Bureau of
Statistics census will be used.
The questionnaire will be pretested in the nearby localities before finalizing.
A multilayered monitoring system will be placed to validate, standardize, and maintain
data quality.
METHODOLOGY (CONT.)
Data Analysis:
Chi-square test will be done to examine the association of sociodemographic and
lifestyle factors with CVD.
The logistic regression model will be used to explore the potential
sociodemographic and lifestyle risk factors for CVD
Ethical approval:
Permission to conduct the survey will be taken from the Institutional Review
Board of North South University.
EXPOSURE MEASURES
The primary outcome variable is CVD, which qualified doctors have diagnosed.
The data collector will verify the information by examining the doctor’s prescription.
