THE ALLEY

SYNOPSIS

My story will follow a boy (James) who has been on a night out
with his friends, it will start with them saying good bye to each
other and James is now walking on his own, he will be using
google maps. As he walks past an alley, the map will suggest that
going down the alley is much quicker, we will follow him as he
struggles to choose between the creepy alleyway or the long safe
walk. Ultimately choose the alley and we follow him as he lives to
regret his decision.
LOGLINE

A boy walks down a

dark alley when he
starts noticing figures
appear behind him, he
runs frantically
looking behind but
comes face to face.
 CHARACTERS

My main character will be a boy called

James, he’ll be portrayed as a happy and
normal teenager who is just trying to get
home.
The creepy figure will have no name to
create more suspense and will only be seen
when in complete darkness until they
come face to face.
My genre is horror and I am going to
try use tension as a major part of my
film, I want my audience to feel as
immersed as possible.
It will start with a happy tone and will
change to a gloomy and frightening
one as it follows the boy walk down
the alleyway.
 PERSONAL
CONNECTION

This relates to me as every time me and my

friends meet up I have to walk down a long
and dark alley to get home, from the dark
corners to the rustle of the leaves everything
adds to the tension and makes you more
scared.
I have seen people in the alley at night and
have purposely avoided it, my production
will highlight how the boy tackles with his
fears and decides to walk down.
