WHAT IS A FAMILY?...


A family is a basic unit of the society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their children.

A family is a basic unit of the Church traditionally consisting of parents or guardians, rearing children and dependants.
 GENESIS 2:15-18
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden
of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree
of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not
eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die.
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be
alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
 GENESIS 1:26-28
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let
them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he
him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and
multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing
that moveth upon the earth.
 GENESIS 4:1-2
1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she
conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have
gotten a man from the LORD.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And
Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a
tiller of the ground.
 GENESIS 4:25
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and
she bare a son, and called his name Seth:
For God, said she, hath appointed me
another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain
slew.
 Thus God started the first family in the book of Genesis.
 The family is the smallest piece of the church
 Hence the family is one of Satan's targets of all times.
 We said the family consists of a man, woman and
children/dependents.
