Tell time in digital and
analouge clocks
 Analouge and DigitalClock
Look at these two kinds of clock!
Do the two clocks show the same time?
It can be yes and no.
Explain your answer!
Because Analouge clocks shows 12-hours
time and have 2 kind of time (pm or am).
Example:
Nicole gets up at the same time every day.
Look at the time on the clock.
It is 6.30 in the morning. We write it as 6.30 a.m.
We read it as six thirty a.m.
We can write the time in another way.
We can write it as 06.30.
We read it as zero six thirty hours.
 12-hours and 24-hours Clock
Write the following times using the 24-hour clock Write the following times using the 12-hour clock

a) 9:15 a.m. = 09:15 a) 08:45 = 8:45 a.m.

b) 11:05 a.m. = 11:05 b) 10:24 = 10:24 a.m.

c) 8:30 p.m. = 20:30 c) 21:35 = 9:35 p.m.
