INTRODUCTION :

As part of the field work Mogalturu of Village Study Segment


course, we conducted survey of village Mogalturu West
Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. We were assigned a host
organization, a non government organization named narsapur
working in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. We
had the opportunity to closely observe the various forms of
interventions and interactions taking place within the village and
understand the impact of such interventions on the lives of the
people of the village.

According to 2011 census of India, Total Mogaltur population is 72,255 people are living in this Mandal,
of which 36,258 are male and 35,997 are female.
•Mogaltur population estimated to be 92,486 in 2022. Literate people are 45,595 out of 24,451 are male
and 21,144 are female.
•Total workers are 34,245 depends on multi skills out of which 22,524 are men and 11,721 are women.
•Total 3,671 Cultivators are depended on agriculture farming out of 3,575 are cultivated by men and 96
are women.
•Then present 7,038 people works in agricultural land as a labour in Mogaltur, men are 5,655 and
1,383 are women.
•The Mogaltur population chart is a graph that shows the distribution of all demographic groups, Literacy
percentage is 63.10 percent, out of these
33.84 percent is male literates and 29.26 percent is female literates.
•Total Workers percentage is 47.39 percent, out of these 31.17 percent is male workers and 16.22
percent is female workers.
•Total Mandal Agriculture farmers percentage is 5.08 percent in Mogalthur, out of these 4.95 percent is
male farmers and 0.13 percent is female farmers.
•Mogaltur Labor percentage is 9.74 percent, out of these 7.83 percent is male labor and 1.91 percent is
female labor.

we (our team ) collectively went to the community to
overlook the conditions and situations in village . what we
found in the village are;
village as no drainages
village as no garbage
village as no perfect roads
we collectively surveyed and collected data which are
required to make Demographic profice of village from the
first week data, we add a report that migrations are Gradually
increasing in village to town.

Local residents say that due to water
logging, the pits filled with water
are turning into
mosquito breeding units. The
drainage system in our residents
colony has been well maintained.
They are kept closed to avoid
breeding of mosquitoes and other
insects. Corpotson staff come twice
a day and spray medicines to
prevent their breeding.

ROAD SURVEY
In villages there are ups and
downs on the streets or roads
and if it is dark one may
stumble. The Panchayats,
municipalities and
corporations are not
particular in laying good
roads, in mending them
roads in good condition so
that people can walk on the
sides and vehicles can be
driven with the least
obstruction

In many towns and cities in India of
the roads causes rainwater to stagnate.
In many towns and cities in india
heavy rain sometimes flood a low-
lying street and vehicles have to run
slowly, where water for a depth of a
foot or two stagnates, and people have
to wade through water. Lying of good
road is the prime duty of a Government

Shoes, ties and belts.
Mid-day Meal facility is there in the
school. But the kitchen was not seen
satisfactory. Again from the enquiry it
was found that all the shopping of the
items for the midday
