Environment
 Plastic can release harmful chemicals into the
surrounding soil, which can then seep into groundwater
or other surrounding water sources, and also the
ecosystem. This can cause a range of potentially
h a r m f u l e f f e c t s o n t h e s p e c i e s t h a t d r i n k t h e w a t e r.

Does Plastic harm Marine life ?

 Marine wildlife such as seabirds, whales, fish and

turtles mistake plastic waste for prey; most then die of
starvation as their stomachs become filled with plastic.
They also suffer from lacerations, infections, reduced
ability to swim, and internal injuries.

Eg : Cloth bags for: Plastic bags, Metal straws
for: Plastic straws, & Metal bottle for: Plastic
Bottles
Solution: Recycling is a very good solution
for Plastic, people should recycle more
because only 12% of plastic is recycled.
