Non-action verbs, also known as stative verbs, are
a type of verb that describe a state or condition
rather than an action. They express a state of
being, a mental state, an emotion, or a sense
perception. Non-action verbs typically do not
show an action in progress and are often used to
convey thoughts, feelings, opinions, or
characteristics. These verbs are not typically used
in continuous or progressive tenses.
