Management Accountants
1. Competence:
•Akuntan Manajemen bertanggung jawab untuk melaksanakan tugas
profesionalnya sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku dan
selalu mengikuti perkembangan atau perubahan baru yang mempengaruhi praktik
akuntansi.
•Akuntan manajemen bertanggung jawab untuk menyiapkan laporan dan
rekomendasi yang lengkap dan konsisten setelah peninjauan yang tepat atas
informasi yang tepat dan akurat.
•Merupakan tanggung jawab etis dari akuntan manajemen untuk mengidentifikasi
dan menyampaikan batasan profesional atau batasan lain yang dapat
menghalangi pelaksanaan operasi yang efektif atau keputusan yang
diinformasikan.

2. Kerahasiaan:
•Untuk bisnis apa pun, informasinya rentan. Pesaing selalu ingin
mengetahui informasi profitabilitas bisnis, informasi harga, informasi
biaya, dll. Akuntan manajemen tidak boleh mengungkapkan informasi
rahasia kecuali jika diwajibkan oleh hukum.
•Bila diperlukan, ingatkan bawahan tentang kerahasiaan informasi
yang diperoleh selama bekerja dan pantau tindakan mereka untuk
memastikan bahwa privasi dilindungi.
•Oleh karena itu menjaga kerahasiaan informasi bisnis adalah salah
satu tanggung jawab etika utama akuntan manajemen.

•Ini adalah tanggung jawab akuntan manajemen, baik secara aktif maupun pasif,

Rencana pertanggungjawaban, akumulasi data, dan sistem pelaporan
semuanya berdasarkan pada asumsi operasi dan perilaku manusia,
yaitu sebagai berikut.
a. Management by Exception (MBE)
MBE sangat efektif untuk mengatur dan mengontrol aktivitas organisasi,
dimana manajer harus berkonsentrasi pada penyimpangan anggaran
atau tujuan dasar.
Karakteristik laporan periodik dari akuntansi pertanggungjawaban yang
ideal adalah menggambarkan perhatian manajemen pada
penyimpangan dari aturan yang telah ditentukan dan termasuk
menentukan tindakan perbaikan untuk penguatan atau perbaikan perilaku.
