EXPERIENCES.
INTRODUCTION. START-UPs:
Government organisations for encouraging startups :

T-HUB – 2015, NOVEMBER 5 – Raidurg - state

MSME – 2007, MAY 9 – central – in Hyderabad, yousufguda

THUB – investment like “Angel funding” and “VC funding” – depends upon start-up type and size.

Micro – below 1 cr Small – between 1 cr to 10 cr Medium – between 10 cr to 50 cr .

Industry/sector :
• T-hub was the largest incubator centre in Telangana.

• T-HUB contributed more than 3600 start-ups in various fields since last couple of years.

• But, success rate of start-ups in only 9%.

• There are several factors that influencing the

success of a start-up or enterprise.

• Growth rate of start-ups is increasing but, success

rate of start-ups is decreasing.

• Not only innovative ideas but, we can also get

success by renovating the old ideas.

• It is also related to financing sector.

TOPIC : Key factors for success in start-ups :

• Marketing

• Management

• Innovative ideas

• Proper investment in proper areas.

• patience
Reasons for failure of start ups :

• Lack of innovation

• Lack of funding or investment

• Pressure from angel investors

• Some unwanted Policies, rules and conditions

FINDINGS :
 For name sake it was an government organisation T-HUB

 Infact, we can call it as a commercial complex

 Because, they imposing high charges for students and individuals who want to become an entrepreneur.

 Like 6000/- for 6hours a month for working space (a table, laptop, wifi, coffee)

 If we use working space an hour extra in thub they impose additional charges.

 This is the problem where everyone feels it is high cost to establish a startup and turns away to backward.

 Do you know, they charge 15000/- for car parking in THUB previously. But not now.

 For a 2 months course with mentoring they charge 85000/-

 So, we can understand the type of encouragement they provides.

SUGGESTIONS :

• Practice patience to get success

• MSME is a best place to become an entrepreneur rather than T-HUB. So, prefer mostly MSME.

• Be brave to face losses of profits.

• Do not prefer angel investors as your investment source to avoid pressure.

CONCLUSION :

Students perspective -

Students with innovative ideas. But, don’t know where to start.

Fear of future ( imagining the losses prior and setting back).

Mindset – from getting a job to giving a job.

Most of start-ups from IITs and IIMs students.
