WHY IS A CV
IMPORTANT?
You use it to show your prospective
employer why they should hire you and
what the benefits of having you on their
team will be. It is ultimately a marketing
tool – your shop window! It is far more
than just a run-down of your career
history, it is your passport to a new job.

LETTER OF
APPLICATION
Also known as a cover letter, an
application letter is a summary of your
strongest and most relevant skills and
abilities that will be expanded in your
resume or selection criteria. It introduces
you to potential employers and highlights
your suitability for the position you are
applying for.
