INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN
LANGUAGES
• The Mid-Term Exam will begin at 2 p.m. on the 23rd of October and it will
be conducted on Google form.
• The students will take the examination in the classroom in school.
• Students are requested to take the examination honestly, ethically, and follow
all the instructions.
 Basic Instructions for
exam
A. General information:
1. The examination will comprise of four
sections: Vocabulary, Reading, Writing,
and Listening.
2. The students will get One point for each
correct answer.
3. The total number of questions and
duration of some sections will be
different based on the level.
4. The subjects or topics covered in the
exam will be as per the Syllabus.
B. Information & Instructions:
1. The examination does not require
using any paper, pen and pencil. If
necessary, students can use them for
notes.
2. Every student will take the
examination on a Laptop.
3. Each student will get questions and
answers in different order selected
randomly.
4. The students just need to click on the
Right Choice / Correct option for
each question.
 THE SEQUENCE OF STEPS
The sequence of steps will be as follows:

⮚ The students will use the only Google Chrome browser.

⮚ The students will go to Google classroom (Not Moodle) and Classwork, and
select the exam sections one by one according to the following order:
Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, and Listening.
⮚ The students will get instructions at the beginning of each section.
⮚ The students will proceed answering the questions one by one by clicking on
the small circle next to the chosen answer.
⮚ The students can move back or forward to the pages before pressing the
Submit.
⮚ The answers can be changed at any time during the test.
⮚ The time remaining is not shown. Therefore, the students will
manage and check it by themselves.
⮚ The students must press the SUBMIT button before the time limit of
each section is over. The answers will not be saved automatically
unless the students press the SUBMIT button.
⮚ If the students finish the section before the time ends, they will wait
the next section to begin.
⮚ The students can leave the examination if they finish all four
sections.
 ATTENTION

· Create the convenient environment.
· Prepare all necessary things before the exam time begins.
. Bring your laptop computer and headphone or earphone for listening.
· Do not be late.
· Be on time.
· Press SUBMIT button before the time of each section ends.
· No grading if you submit the answers for each section late.
· No cheating.
· Be honest and ethical.
All above-mentioned conditions might be a subject to failure of the exam, for which the
Institute of Foreign Languages does not bear any irresponsibility.
 Exam guidelines,

• Listening
The students are going to 2
lectures on the listening part.
For these two listening, there
will be 16 questions students
that need to complete in 20
minutes.
• Writing
The students are given 40 minutes to
complete 4-5 paragraph essay. There are
titles and students will choose one title
according to their desire.

• Reading • Vocabulary
The students are going to read There are twenty five vocabulary
