The story of Chinese happy new year
• When the lunar new year, a beast called “Nian” will appear
in the wild in winter, the monster will eat people who live in
the village.
• Because the monster comes and goes once a year, the
ancestors of Yan and Huang figured out the knack of fighting
through countless struggles. Although the monster is fierce, it
is afraid of red, fire and loud noise.Therefore every people
put the red flowers on the door , lights a bonfire at the door,
and sets off firecrackers. When the Nian beast sees red
couplets on the door, there is a red fire at the door,
firecrackers and thunderbolts, and he will pay New Year's
greetings to the elders, so he rushes to the house. The
monster is gone.

welcome new :D”

money”. The behavior of “Suo Kou Li
Shi” is usually called “asking for red
packet”.
