TRANSPARENT
•Those object through which light can pass
easily are called TRANSPARENT objects.
• Allow complete transmission of light,

Examples: water and clear glass


TRANSLUCENT

•Those objects through which light can pass partially are called
TRANSLUCENT objects.
•Not able to clearly see

Examples:Sunglasses and tinted car window


OPAQUE
Opaque materials either reflect or absorb any
incident light. As a result, light rays cannot pass
through opaque materials

Examples: Wood and Stones
