Is an important foundation


foundation for health and
fitness.
Do this !

Stand up straight . Take ten steps forward ,then


go back ten steps to your starting position.

Can you move your body easily ?


Posture
 Is the way a person carries his or her body.
 It is bad posture when you walk with a slouched
back or bowed head.
 However when you walk with a straight body and
head up,it is a good posture.
 Children like you should practice good posture
because it is important in having a fit and healthy
body.
 Correct posture makes you look good and feel
good.
 It is proper way of carrying the body in different
positions and movements .
Standing
 Stand with head
up,back
straight ,stomach
in,shoulders
relaxed,and arms
at the sides,Your
feet should be flat
on the floor
Sitting –sit up
straight with the
head ,neck and
body aligned.Put
your back against
the backrest of
the chair .Both
legs are in line
with the feet
Walking
 In walking step
with the heel first
of one foot ,then
step the other foot
. Keep stepping
alternately with a
straight body and
arms swinging at
the sides.
