improvement process, such as plan-do-study-act, focused
on activities that are responsive to organizational needs
and improving population health.
3. Quality Planning (Juran Quality Planning
Roadmap)- the role of quality planning is to design a
process that will be able to meet established goals
under operating conditions.
Juran's Quality Planning Road Map consists of the following steps:
1. Identify your customer.
2. Determine their needs.
3. Translate the into ones language.
4. Develop a product that can respond to needs.
5. Develop processes which are able to produce those product features.
6. Prove that the process can produce the product
7. Transfer the resulting plans to the operating forces.
Juran Fitness of Quality
Juran's fitness for use definition of quality means the product should be
a good price, work well for the customer, be distributed efficiently from
the producer to the customer, and be supported efficiently by the
company.
