Endangered Animals
§ Endangered animals are those animals who are facing extinction.

§ Barasingha were one of the animals who were close to extinction.

§ To Protect the tiger we created project tiger in India , so that the tigers population may increase and it did increase.

§ There was also a Reserve named Satpura Tiger Reserve were tiger were protected.

Endemic Specics
 Endemic Species are those species that are found in a particular area.

 Sal and mango tree are found only in Madhya Pradesh.

 Flying squirrel are endemic to Madhya Pradesh.

 Giant squirrels are endemic and are also rare also close to extinction.

Project Tiger
 Tigers are one of the cat family members who are close to extintion.

§ Tiger skin were used as mats.

§ To Protect the tiger we created project tiger in India , so that the tigers population may increase and it did increase.

Red Data Book
 A Red Data Book is a book that keeps all the information of all the endangered species of animals, plants and in a country.

 The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) established the Red Data Book to safeguard the rare species of
plants and animals all over the world.

Migration
 Migratory birds fly to far-away places every year during a particular time because of climatic changes, they fly for laying eggs
as the weather in their habitat becomes very cold and inhospitable.

 Birds who cover a long distances to reach another land are known as Migratory birds.

 Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is the largest bird sanctuary in India.
