"WHO," "WHOM," "WHOSE," "WHICH," AND "THAT"


"WHO" AND "WHOM":


"Who" and "whom " (a quien) is used to refer to people.

• For example, "The man who/whom I met is a


teacher."
"WHICH" AND "THAT":

• “Which" is used to refer to things and animals,


while "that" is used for people, things, and animals.

• For example, "The book that/which I am reading


is interesting."
WHOSE

• 'Whose' is used to indicate possession or


ownership. For example, 'The girl whose dog ran
away is upset.'"
