Appetizers are foods that stimulate appetites through
their enticing flavour, aroma, or pleasing look. Small portions or pieces of highly seasoned food are typically provided before a meal to stimulate and increase one’s appetite. Basic Ingredients in preparing appetizers
Fruits- are usually served as cocktail appetizers.
Vegetables- Can be mixed with other ingredients. These can be served as garnishes . Bread, Pastry or Crackers – are commonly used as base for canapés. Spreads- Such as butter or softened cream cheese are used in preparing canapés to support their base. These are the different kind of Appetizer.
