deep longing for love in the face of the present realities of our world. Christian love can only be authentic if it awakens individuals to their social and communitarian responsibilities (CFC 954). The love that is the mark of a Christian enables him/her to take the responsibility for his/her brothers and sisters Jesus showed us how truly put into action the very love of God. He is challenging us to do the same.
We can only respond to the challenge
