The love of God for human beings is made
complete and concrete through the person of
Jesus Himself.

Jesus showed us the way to love. For Him,

to truly love another involves selflessness and
sacrifice (Costello, 2014).
 What does the love of Jesus consist of?
1.Jesus’ love consist of total obedience to the Father.

2. Jesus’ love consists of being faithful and enduring.

3. Jesus’ love entails service.

Your classmate accuses you wrongly of
getting something his/her without
permission and he/she informed your
adviser about it.
Your parents provide you everything you
need in school and give you allowance every
day. Every recess time, you would always
remember the two girls who look hungry,
sickly, and distressed by the gate of the
school, but you are not allowed to go out
of the school premises.
 You have a classmate who is always scolded by
your teacher because he is very naughty and is
always absent in the class. Every time he comes
to class, your other classmates would not want
to mingle with him.

Your parents need to be at work one

The song “Where is the Love” expresses a

deep longing for love in the face of the
present realities of our world.
Christian love can only be authentic if it
awakens individuals to their social and
communitarian responsibilities (CFC 954).
The love that is the mark of a Christian
enables him/her to take the responsibility for
his/her brothers and sisters
Jesus showed us how truly put into action the very
love of God. He is challenging us to do the same.

We can only respond to the challenge

of the love command when we model
our love in Jesus. Only as we love
Him can we love others.
