Where to Apply?
Students are eligible to apply to middle school in the district where they are zoned for
middle school and, when different, the district where they attend elementary school.
● When families apply to middle school, they are really applying to programs at those
schools.
● Some schools have more than one program, such as a Boroughwide Dual Language
program and a zoned program. Types of programs include:
● Zoned Programs: Open to students who live in the geographic zone.
● District Programs: Open to students who are zoned to or attend
elementary school in that district.
● Boroughwide Programs: Open to students who are zoned to or attend
elementary school in that borough.
● Citywide Programs: Open to all New York City residents.

Once you choose your school, “favorite” the program information tab. You will use these codes for the application.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8TH: MS Application Deadline

Wednesday. April 3rd: Middle School Offers Letters
