Ear speculum

• Cone-shaped speculum has tapered end that is


inserted into the cartilaginous portion of the EAC after
retracting the pinna.

• The black or dull finished speculums are used in


operations & prevent reflection of light.
The use of the largest ear speculum that can easily enter the canal is safe
and provides better view.
