Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio, on
February 11, 1847. He was one of the most profitic
inventors of all times in the USA and a businessman who
developed and made commercially available many key
invention of modern life.

Career
He began his career in 1863, in the
adolescence of the telegraph industry,
when virtually the only source of
electricity was primitive batteries putting
out a low-voltage current.
Activity
Thomas Edison had a Edison Electric
company who was a pioneering company for
delivering DC electricity directly into
people’s homes. In addition he field 1,000
patents for a variety of different inventions.

the world?
Thomas Edison played a significant part in
introducing the modern age of electricity. His
most important inventions included :the
phonograph, the carbon-button transmitter for
the telephone speaker and microphone, the
electric car and the electric light bulb.

Importance of this personality
About his importance, Thomas Edison helped to initiate
the electricity revolution inventing the electric light
bulb and providing one of the first domestic electricity
in the world.

My attitude
I have a respectful attitude towards this personality
because he is a successful inventor who has shown
perseverance.I appreciate the fact that throughout his
career he was based on not just one invention, but a lot
of them that he worked on very much that are still in
use today.
