EVANGELISM

& ITS
BENEFITS
15
He said to them, “Go
into all the world and
preach the gospel to all
creation.”

Mark 16:15
Preaching and recovering
the lost souls with the
message of Jesus Christ is
an important duty to be
carried out by those that
have been saved.
Since we have found the
light of God, we are
commanded to help
others lost in sin to find
their way out of darkness
and reproach.
Romans 10:14-15 (NIV)
14
How, then, can they call on the one they
have not believed in? And how can they
believe in the one of whom they have not
heard? And how can they hear without
someone preaching to them? 15 And how
can anyone preach unless they are sent? As
it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of
those who bring good news!
Every method of evangelism
is good and effective
depending on the one that
you may choose to employ
or adopt, but the most
important thing is that you
must cultivate a lifestyle of
evangelism because we are
saved to save others.
APPROACHES
TO EVANGELISM
1) WELFARE EVANGELISM

Welfare could mean financial,

health and care provisions
rendered to those who need it.
This method is very easy to
attract people to you, when you
show love and provide special
kinds of gifts; it gives you the
opportunity to minister the
gospel of Jesus Christ to the
receivers of this welfare.

2) GOSPEL TRACTS EVANGELISM

This is the distribution of good

Christian tracts to the people
with the goal of preaching the
gospel to them.

The truth and good news of

Jesus Christ must be written and
kept for the reading of others to
know it and accept it.
Imagine if there were no
records about the Holy Bible.

Every truth that has set you

free must be written for the
freedom of others.
3) FRIENDSHIP EVANGELISM

It means using your

relationship or developing new
relationship just for the
purpose of preaching the
gospel of Jesus Christ to them.
Jesus became a friend to
Zaccheaus just to reach him and
his class of friends.

Jesus sat among sinners to

win their heart and to present
the good news. In this type, you
must not just preach it but you
must also live what you preach.
Prayerfully make a list
of friends, neighbors etc.
that you would like to
get close to because of
saving them for Jesus or
helping them become
more committed in their
faith in God.

The Soul Winner's Joy

He says, “Rejoice with Me; for I

have found My sheep which was lost”
(Luke 15:6).
Paul knew that the souls he had
won for the Lord would be his joy and
crown of rejoicing (1 Thess. 2:19).
In due time there will be the joy of
harvest.
