flag yelling flag of truce. Captain
Smollet surrounds the area with the
honest men in case they attack . Jim
goes to the east Dr Livesey to the north
and Gray to the west . Long John Silver
and Captain Smollett had a face to face
discussion about the distribution of the
treasure There discussion doesn’t go
well so Long John Silver and his men
disappeared .
Chapter twenty-one
 Silver’s pirates fight against the honest
men . Silver looses five of his men on
the captain’s side , Joyce is killed and
hunter is left unconscious and died .
Jim Hawkins nearly got killed but made
through . Gray had to make another
blow and the honest men won the
fight . Captain Smollett got wounded
The mutineers were soonly eight in
number , for the man shot by Mr
Trelawney on board died the same
evening of his wound .

Onomatopoeia
‘Quarters!’ he roared. And then, as we all slunk back to our places.
Suddenly, with a loud huzza, a little cloud of pirates leaped from the woods on
the north side , and ran straight on the stockade .
Personification
As soon as the sun climbed above our girdle of trees, it fell with all its force
upon the clearing , and drank up the vapours at a draught .
Soon the san was baking, and the resin melting in the block-house.
Not a bough waved, not the gleam of a musket-barrel betrayed the presence of
our foes.
A riffle-ball sang through the doorway, and knocked the doctor’s musket into bits

Regret
Captain Smollett and Silver had a conversation in which Silver offers a deal
about the distribution of the treasure but Captain Smollett regrets Silvers
offer .
Greed
Captain Smollett regrets Silvers offer about the distribution of the treasure as
he was greedy , graspy and wanted the treasure .
Courage
The dishonest men outnumbered the honest men by nine to four but still
Captain Smollett did not accept Silvers offer and they were still fighting.

Chapter Twenty – One
Attack
The dishonest men attacked the honest men. When the fight started honest men
were fighting from the hut but the dishonest men were shooting from their own
holes then Captain Smollett ordered them to fight the dishonest men in the
open.
