Our Vision “Increase the productivity of labor intensive industries using AI”

Create standalone products, one industry at a time. Each product is tailored to

Goal digitize the manufacturing processes of a specific industry and to solve its
unique problems. Hence, increase its productivity in a practical and affordable
manner.

The Strategy At INDOS, we keen to apply the product mastery and hyper growth
strategy.

In product mastery, we care to achieve a high product-market fit, ensure value-add to the industry,
and create a business model to achieve affordability and stickiness of the product
As for the high growth strategy, we focus on dominating the local market, and growing the
business beyond borders.

Industries
As INDOS Corp, our focus is to digitize labour-intensive industries and increase labour productivity, starting
with garment industry

The Problem
The information received from the production lines in the garment manufacturing industry is either false,
incomplete, or late.
Production rates are significantly less than the capacity of the factory or the projections/plans (60% of
the capacity on average).

Manufacturing cost is higher than expected.

Managing a garment factory is an unstructured and tedious affair with no standard or digitized
processes to follow.
Workers are not incentivized to do their best because they are not seen, rewarded, nor recognized
for their efforts.
The Solution
Garment IO collects and analyzes live data from the production floor and generates tailored, valuable
insights to decision-makers in the factory using IoT. We enable critical data-backed, cost-saving decisions to
be taken at the right time by giving the right insights to the right people.

Our industrial-grade devices are mounted at each workstation on the production floor and used to collect all
activities performed by each worker via RFID and a button interface

The data is uploaded directly to our servers and processed instantly with our data models and machine
learning algorithms to provide real-time insights on our proprietary software running on phones, tablets,
computers and TV Displays on the production floor.

The Product
The system analyzes and integrates all these data points to provide numerous live dashboards and historical reports on
productivity, efficiency, quality and maintenance, line balancing, costing, quality levels and many others. It also uses this data
to generate performance metrics to everyone working in these disciplines.

The product collects various critical data points and all in real time. Some of these points are:

● Workers login and logout on ● End of line quality inspections ● Inline quality ● Downtime
workstations
inspections requests
● Individual worker production ● Maintenance requests ● Final quality audits

Core Module Overview

●Production Planning
Plan production orders across multiple lines, sections and machines
●Cutting
Manage the cutting processes including fabric rolls, markers and cutting orders

●Production Floor Management

Live management of the production status and the production lines throughput

●Maintenance
Live collection and in-depth analysis of inline, end-of-line and final quality audits

●Quality Management
Live tracking of machines downtime and repairs

●Product Costing
Analyze actual cost per stage and process vs. estimated
About Garment IO | Background

Garment manufacturing is one of the most labour intensive industries today. A small factory employs
hundreds of workers performing hundreds of operations every single minute. With such a density of manual
operations; human errors are common and expected. The main problem is that decision-makers find out about
errors too late to be able to take corrective action.

The information received from the lines are either inaccurate, incomplete, or late. Therefore, most of the
decisions taken were suboptimal because they were based on intuition and experience rather than data. This
problem persists in most garment factories around the globe. Most factories operate at 60% of their capacity,
whereas there is a huge potential to make significant improvement in productivity.

Ahmed Nounou suffered from these problems first-hand while running his family’s garment factory. He was
not able to know what was happening on the production floor unless he was there physically.

In 2017, Ahmed met Mahmoud Sabae, a serial tech entrepreneur and owner of a software development firm.
They found a common passion for a potentially revolutionary solution to this problem and started the R&D
phase with the objective of creating hardware and software to track the production flow within the factory.

In 2018, the first pilot factory was running Garment IO’s MVP.

Market Size
Our data tells us that the cost of productivity enhancement is around 1% of the factory's cost.
Assuming a worst case scenario of revenue = cost, then the total market size for productivity
enhancement is USD 6.7Bn.
Scalability
Our software is built to fit the needs of every garment factory without any customizations. The time to
deploy in a new factory is 2 weeks which is a fraction of what it takes to implement an ERP.We aim to
boost scalability by investing in:

A multilingual video library and user manuals to enable remote system deployments without physical
presence

Larger inventories of hardware to delivery faster to our clients

A streamlined supply chain process to manufacture, deliver, and deploy our hardware with minimal
friction
Competitive Advantage
We have been in close contact with over 200 garment manufacturers in over 10 countries with production
capacities ranging from 60 to 8000 machines.
None of them use real-time productivity tracking on their production lines.

Those who used any productivity tracking were using paper-based systems or barcode scanning to simply log
productivity by line, not by worker, and at the end of each day.

There are few competitors to Garment IO that use RFID technologies like:

Why Are We Different ?

We have invested in the product know-how to make it highly tailored to the needs of the different personas
in garment factories.

We offer a unique subscription-based model that covers both software and hardware which eliminates
the risk associated with investing in hardware and software licenses.

We invest in AI technologies to offer smart insights to the factory and increase the stickiness of our
product.

The Business Model

Our subscription-based model enables the factories to achieve significant savings with minimal
investment
Traction
Overall, our ARR has been growing at a steady rate. Even in challenging market conditions, customers
& the market view our solution as a necessity.
