• Background: Sexual dysfunction affects 33–60% of women and 8–52% of men. It can be caused by both hypothyroidism
(underactive thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid).

• Need for the study: To investigate the associations between thyroid hormones and sexual dysfunction in Indian women and men.

• Propose: A systematic review of Indian studies on sexual dysfunctions in patients with thyroid disorders

• Draft search strategy: tw, kw, MeSH terms
