BRIEFLY ABOUT CHINA
About 1.4 billion people live in
China, representing 56 ethnic minority
groups. The largest group the Han
Chinese, with about 900 million people.
Other groups include the Tibetans, the
Mongols, the Manchus, the Naxi, and
the Hezhe, which is smallest group,
with fewer than 2000 people
These nations created their own cultures
and traditions.
RELIGIO
N
Currently, there are only five official religions. Any religion
other than Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and
Protestantism are illegal, even though the Chinese constitution
states that people are allowed freedom of religion.
People who are in other religions, such as Judaism, Sikhism,
cannot live in China with Chinese. Also people who live in The
Western China are particularly the Muslims. Other Chinese don’t
respect them.
Chinese may be a rewarding
language to study – and a
difficult one. Nothing works
LANGUAGE the way you are used to,
grammar is completely
different from other
languages, pronunciation
rules are incomprehensible,
and the writing system is
complicated.

Food is the main tradition of Chinese.

However there are a lot of “buts”.
Chinese food can be high in sodium,
sugar, and trans fats. Some specialties
also contain monosodium glutamate
(MSG), a potentially harmful food
additive (via the Mayo Clinic). Any of
these ingredients can harm your health
when consumed in excess.

PROBLEMS RELATED TO
CHINESE ART
Four outstanding problems:
1. Skilling
2. Moralization
3. Mechanization
4. Marginalization
2 ROOT CAUSES OF
PROBLEMS OF CHINESE ART
1. Chinese education system interfere with the development of art education.
Since the foundations of New China, the main way of selecting talents has been the
“test” system. Exam-oriented education system has resulted in deviation from the
training objective, “Improving the quality of students comprehensively”.
If China wants to change the embarrassing situation of art education it’s necessary
to change the exam-oriented education mechanism into the national mechanism of
quality education.
2 ROOT CAUSES OF
PROBLEMS OF CHINESE ART
2. The lag of art education self-development impedes the current development of art
education. The lag of Chinese art education development is mainly manifested in
three aspects:
1) The theory of art education lags behind
2) The theory of art teaching lags behind
3) Since the exam-oriented education hasn’t changed into quality education, the art
education hasn’t been paid enough attention.
