Facilitate social and emotional development
Instruct parents and child on administration of
medication
ROM
Encourage performance of normal ADL
Hot and cold packs
Splinting and Positioning of affected joints
during painful episodes

Prolonged used may cause:
Cushing’s syndrome
Risk for infection
