Be going to + infinitive of purpose

• We use be going to ( akan) when we have plan to do something


before we speak.
• The structure of the “ be going to “
Subject + be going to + to infinitive ( be = is , am , are)
Subject Be going to To infinitive
I am going to market to buy some fruits

She / he /it is going to beach to look for shell


They/you / are going to Jakarta to visit our grandparents

• We are going to friend’s house to play the doll
Example:
• I am going to the market to buy some apples
• He is going to the swimming pool to swim with his family.
• I am going to the library to read some books.
• I am going to the park to ride a bike
• We are going to the cinema to watch the movie
• I am going to the school to study with my friends .
• I am going to the robotic club to make a robot
• I am going to the garden to water the plant.
• For the negative sentence we add not after the “ to be”
• Ex: - I am not going to the bakery to buy some bread.
- He isn’t going to the sport center to swim.
- They aren’t going the town to picnic
