WHAT IS IT?
➤ It’s a verb tense used to talk about
actions in the future.

➤ Use the auxiliaries: will, shall, be


going to.

➤ Formula:Subject+ will+ verb in


its base form+ rest of the sentence
BE GOING TO
Refers to activities in which there
has been previous planning.

➤ She is going to a party tonight.

➤ We are going to watch a movie


tonight.
WILL
It is used to describe actions that are
performed without much planning or
thought.
SHALL
Is similar to “will”, we use it with
first person singular and plural to
ask about a preference.

➤ Shall I close the door?


➤ Shall we go now?
