Reflections on the Mass
► Describe your experience of Mass up to this point in your life.
► There is a wide variety of personal experience of the Mass.
You may attend every Sunday, you may only go on Christmas
and Easter, you may only go when the school community
celebrates Mass. Regardless of how frequently you’ve
attended, take a few minutes and recall those experiences.
What minutes and recall those experiences. What were they
like? Good? Bad? Ugly? Explain…
► What questions might you have about the Mass, the Eucharist,
and/or Reconciliation?

3. What does the phrase ’in persona Christi’ mean?
► After:

asked him what he wanted him to do?
“Entering the Mystery” p. 6-7

Respond:
► What disposition do you have when attending Mass (or
service) on Sunday, or with the school?
► To give or to get?
► To survive or to thrive?
Why do you think this is?

fall into its proper place. Identify some of the other things (Eg. – sports)
we place at the center of our lives, rather than God. Why do we tend to

of heaven and earth”?
Segment 2- “The Greatest Gift” (9:48)
