Please share the book and the knowledge of the book.

If you read this book please pray for me to Allah to
give me the best Jannah/heaven.Thank you and may
Allah give you best Jannah/heaven too. Ameen.
Sincerely, (Faisal Fahim)
The Prophet (PBUH) has said: "Whoever guides
[another] to a good deed will get a reward similar
to the one who performs it." [Saheeh Muslim]
Information arranged & organized by Mr.Faisal Fahim
have also been mentioned with a slight variation in the number of

ayaat, in the book “Al Qawlul Jameel”, wherein it has also been

mentioned that there are these thirty three ayah which ward off the

effects of Sihr (witch-craft), and that they are a protection against the

Shayatin (devils), thieves and harmful wild beasts.

Whenever anyone suggested the reading of these ayah to a victim,

they had to either indicate these verses in the respective books or write
them down, Therefore it was felt that it would simplify this task if these

ayah were printed separately.

It should be considered, and borne in mind that the effectiveness of

the recital of these ayaat and du‟as as a formula for specific purposes

depends on the sincerity and; undisturbed and earnest devotion of the

reader. The effectiveness of the response to du‟as is relative to the

determination of ones conviction and the depth of ones sincerity with

which du‟as are made. Allah's I names and His true and holy words

hold great barakah, (unseen, blessings benefits and advantages of

abundant value from Allah I).

“And Allah I is the One who grants strength

to comply and adhere,(to His will and command)”.

good deeds which He has ordained)

3. Who believe in the Ghayb (Unseen) and perform As-Salah

4. And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah)

which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad r)

256. There is no compulsion in religion.

Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path.

Whoever disbelieves in Taghut (false deities and false leaders)

and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most

trustworthy handhold that will never break.

And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

257. Allah is the Wali (Protector and Guardian) of those who believe.

He brings them out from darkness into light.

But as for those who disbelieve,

their Auliya (supporters and helpers) are Taghut

they bring them out from light into darkness.

Those are the dwellers of the Fire,

roughly
equal length into which the Qur'an is divided for the purpose of reciting the entire text in one
week.
Another meaning is verses from different parts of the Qur'an which help in curing or preventing
jadoo.
In the tradition of Prophet Muhammad SAW, he was himself once targeted by sorcerers, but he
annulled their effect through the recitation of the verses of the Qur'an. According to various
traditions, different parts of the Qur'an are described to have a positive effect on an individual in
terms of negating and preventing the effects of witchcraft, or for general wellbeing and
becoming
a better practicing Muslim.
These are 33 verses of the Quran which eliminate the effects of Magic and become a means of
protection from Shayaten, thieves and harmful beasts and animals. (Shah Wali-ullah (RA):
AlQawlul- Jameel)
Maulana Muhammad Talha Hazrat Shaykh Maulana Zakariyya (RA) Says: “These are verses of
the Quran which are known as “Manzil” in our family and elders of our family used to
practice/read these assiduously and ensure that all the children learned them in their childhood.
Manzil is a collection of Ayat and short Surah’s from the Quran that are to be recited as a means
of protection and antidote - Ruqya from Black Magic, Jinn, Witchcraft, Sihr, Sorcery, Evil Eye
and the like as well as other harmful thing
The Manzil comprises the following verses of the Quran:
Surah Al-Fatihah (chapter 1): verses 1 to 7
Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 1 to 5, 163, 255 to 257, and 284 to 286
Surah Al-Imran (chapter 3): verses 18, 26 and 27
Surah Al-A'araf (chapter 7): verses 54 to 56
Surah Al-Israa (chapter 17): verses 110 and 111
Surah Al-Muminoon (chapter 23): verses 115 to 118
Surah Al-Saaffaat (chapter 37): verses 1 to 11
Surah Al-Rehman (chapter 55): verses 33 to 40
Surah Al-Hashr (chapter 59): verses 21 to 24
Surah Al-Jinn (chapter 72): verses 1 to 4
Surah Al-Kaafiroon (chapter 109): verses 1 to 6
Surah Al-Ikhlas (chapter 112): verses 1 to 4
Surah Al-Falaq (chapter 113): verses 1 to 5
Surah Al-Naas (chapter 114): verses 1 to 6
The entire manzil is prescribed to be read one or three times in one sitting. This may be
performed once or twice a day, in the latter case once in the morning and once in the evening

Reading Surah Yaseen is equivalent to reading the whole Quran 10 times.

“Everything has a heart and the heart of the Glorious Quran is Surah Yaseen. Whoever reads Surah
Yaseen, Allah records for them a reward equal to that of reading the whole Quran 10 times.” [Maqal,
Tirmidhi 2812/A & Dhahabi]

Reading Surah Yaseen benefits the reader in this life as well as in the Hereafter.

According to one hadith, Surah Yaseen is named in the Torah as “Mun’imah” i.e. Giver of Good
Things. This is because it contains benefits of the reader both in this world and the next. It removes
from them the afflictions of this worlds and the next. Surah Yaseen also takes away the dread of the
next life. [Hashiya of Tafsir Jalalalayn , pg 368].

Sayyiduna Ma‟qil ibn Yasar (radiyallahu‟anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu‟alaihi

wasallam) said: “Surah Yasin is the heart of the Qur‟an. When anyone who intends the
Akhira recites it Allah will forgive him. Recite it upon your deceased.” (Sunan Abi
Dawud) Imam Hakim has classified this tradition as sahih (authentic); Mustadrak Hakim
vol.1 pg.565 – see al-Targhib vol.2 pg.376 Imam Ahmad has narrated in his Musnad
from Safwan that, „The scholars use to say that when it is recited by the deceased,
Allah creates ease for him/her.‟ (See Tafsir ibn Kathir vol.3 pg.571)

Sayyiduna Jundub ibn „Abdullah (radiyallahu‟anhu) narrates that Rasulullah

(sallallahu‟alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites Surah Yasin at night seeking
the pleasure of Allah, His sins will be forgiven.”

(Muwatta Imam Malik).

Imam ibn Hibban has classified it as sahih – Sahih ibn Hibban vol.6 pg.312 (see
al-Targhib vol.2 pg.377)

A similar narration is reported by Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu‟anhu)

and has been recorded by Imam Abu Ya‟ala in his Musnad. Hafiz Ibn Kathir has
classified its chain of narrators as good (jayyid). (Tafsir ibn Kathir vol.3 pg.570)

Based on this narration, Allama Al-Munawi (rahimahullah) has deduced that

whoever will recite Surah Yasin during the morning, will also be forgiven,
Inshallah. (See Faydul-Qadir vol.6 pg.259)

Sayyiduna Ibn „Abbas (radiyallahu‟anhuma) says: “Whoever recites Yasin in the

morning, his work for that entire day will be made easy and whoever recites in
at the end of the day, his tasks till the next morning will be made easy.” (Sunan
Darimi vol.2 pg.549)

A similar narration has also been recorded by Imam Darimi from Atta ibn Abi
Rabah (rahimahullah). (ibid)

The 6 Kalimas

There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

2- Second Kalima (Shahadat):

Ash-hadu Al-laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wahdahoo Laa Shareeka Lahoo Wa-Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan
‘Abduhoo Wa Rasooluhu.

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness
that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger

3- Third Kalima (Tamjeed):

Subhaana-llaahi Walhamdu Lillaahi Walaaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wallaahu Akbar. Walaa Hawla Walaa Quwwata
Illaa Billaahi-l ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem.

Glory be to Allah and all praise be to Allah, there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
There is no might or power except from Allah, the Exalted, the Great One.

4- Fourth Kalima (Touheed):

Shai-’in Qadeer.

There is none worthy of worship except Allah. He is alone and has no partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and for
Him is all praise. He gives life and causes death. In His hand is all good and He has power over everything

5- Fifth Kalima (Astaghfar):

Astaghfiru-llaaha Rabbi Min Kulli Dhambin Adhnabtuhoo ‘Amadan Aw Khata-an Sirran Aw ‘Alaaniyata-wn

I seek forgiveness from Allah, who is my Creator and Cheriser, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly,
secretly or openly. I also seek His forgiveness for all sins which I am aware of or am not aware of. Certainly You (O
Allah!), are the Knower of the hidden and the Concealer of mistakes and the Forgiver of sins. And there is no power
and no strength except from Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

6- Sixth Kalima (Radd-e-Kufar):

Illa-llaahu Muhammadu-r Rasoolu-llah.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from that I should ascribe any partner with You knowingly. I seek Your forgiveness for
the sin of which I have no knowledge. I repent from it. And becoming disgusted of disbelief and idolatry, lying and
backbiting, innovation and slander, lewdness and abomination and all other acts of disobedience, I submit to Your
will. I believe and I declare that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of
Allah
