RECOVERY OF GOLD
1. Short Loop
• To maximise efficiency recovered gold is transformed into new products
• Gold from old jewellery, industrial scrap and sweeps are transformed into semi-products
such as coin, blanks, rings.
2. Long Loop
• Addresses complex streams like e-scraps(Mobiles and PCBs)
• A specific metallurgical process required along with chemical testing to separate the gold
from the internal parts
