SOME TYPES OF
MODERN WAYS FOR
AGRICULTURE :

•Tissue culture
method.
•Vertical farming.

Explanation on new ways
of agriculture
AEROPONICS
SYSTEM :
Aeroponics is a method of
growing plants without soil.
Instead, roots are suspended
in the air and irrigated with
a nutrient-dense mist. This
differs from hydroponics,
where plant roots are
submerged in a solution of
water and nutrients.

Aquaponics
system :

Aquaponics is a cooperation between

plants and fish and the term originates
from the two words aquaculture (the
growing of fish in a closed environment)
and hydroponics (the growing of plants
usually in a soil-less environment).
Aquaponic systems come in various sizes
from small indoor units to large
commercial units.

HYDROPONICS
SYSTEM :
Hydroponics is the technique of
growing plants using a water-based
nutrient solution rather than soil,
and can include an aggregate
substrate, or growing media, such as
vermiculite, coconut coir, or perlite.
Hydroponic production systems are
used by small farmers, hobbyists,
and commercial enterprises.

Tissue culture
method :
Tissue culture is the growth of
tissues or cells in an artificial
medium separate from the parent
organism. This technique is also
called micropropagation. This is
typically facilitated via use of a
liquid, semi-solid, or solid growth

medium, such as broth or agar.

VERTICAL
FARMING :
Vertical Farming is a novel method of
growing crops by artificially stacking
plants vertically above each other
either in skyscrapers or by using
the third dimension of space. This
might help to solve many of future's

problems like malnutrition, polluted
food etc. that could become evident
along with food scarcity.
