 RATIONALE OF THE STUDY
Every worker has right to work in a healthy and secure
environment. A worker of an organisation is liable to work in an
environment where safety and health are properly taken care of.
The responsibility of safety and health of the worker is not only
sole responsibility of the employer , it is also responsibility of
the worker to take care of their health and safety.

This project encompasses all the vital

aspect related to each and every
prospect of workers protection and
workplace safety with the help of
case study.
 LITERATURE REVIEW
This section reviews relevant literature on workplace safety, employee safety and employee productivity.

• Li et al. (2020) observed that employees with negative safety attitudes take
unnecessary risks and ignore safety procedures.

• Laura (2019) added that despite the commitment of employers to create safe
workplaces and boost employee productivity, accidents and employee
productivity problems may persist because of negative employee safety attitudes.

• Dessler and Varrkey (2015) asserted that employees’ safety attitude determines
whether employees follow existing safety procedures and rules; this determines
their safety and productivity.

• Aswathappa (2015) noted that employees with positive safety attitudes pay
attention to safety training, know and urge their co-workers to follow safety
procedures.
 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

To examine the strategic issues were

01 pertaining to employee safety and health
in various manufacturing organizations.

02 To analyse the measures taken towards

industrial safety.

To evaluate the cause of accidents.

03

04 To suggest the various measures reduce the

occupational hazards in a manufacturing
concerns.
OBJECTIVES
 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Sources of data collection:

 Primary data are collected afresh and for the first time. It is the data
originated by the researcher specifically to address the research problem. In
this study, primary data is collected through “Questionnaire”

 Secondary data is also called second hand data . It is collected from internet.

Sample size : 50 respondents

Sampling method: Convenience sampling

Tools for analysis : pie chart and percentage method are used.

Sample area : REWA city

Limitations the study

• Respondents might not disclose their honest

and true opinion.

• Manufacturing concerns are located

throughout India and it is extremely difficult
to conduct the study in all over India
