CONVENTIONAL
CURRENT AND
ELECTRON FLOW
What is a conventional current? What is an
electron flow? From which terminal of the
battery does a conventional current depart and
arrive? From which part of a battery does an
electron flow depart and arrive?
The direction of the conventional current or
simply current is from the positive terminal of
the battery to the negative terminal. However,
the direction of the electron flow is from the
negative terminal of the battery to the positive
terminal.
