province of Pampanga is the traditional
homeland of the Kapampangan’s.
Kapampangan is derived from the root
word pangpang which means
(“riverbank”).
Kapampangan, ethnolinguistic group
living in the Philippines, principally in the
central plain of Luzon, especially in the
province of Pampanga, but also in parts
of other adjoining provinces.

As of right now, the DEPED and


CHED oversees the Kapampangan
educational system and provides
free education to indigenous people
living in the Pampanga.
POLITICS

The political system of


Kapampangan is also based on the
Philippine Constitution; however,
before to the arrival of the
Spanish, the political system in
Kapampangan was sultanate.
