MAGAPIT SUSPENSION BRIDGE

Located in the municipality of Lal-lo, the Magapit Suspension Bridge spans the Cagayan River
and connects the towns of Lal-lo and Gattaran. It was built in 1978 and is one of the longest
suspension bridges in the country, measuring 1.298 kilometers in length.

One interesting fact about the bridge is that it is designed to withstand strong winds and
earthquakes. Its suspension cables are made of steel wire ropes, and the bridge's towers are
anchored deep into the ground to provide stability and strength.
