Open educational resources are an invaluable
tool to utilize in the classroom. They come
with many benefits that have particular value
to community college faculty and students as
they are no cost and easy to access.

There are some areas of growth including

availability of resources, identification of
legitimate OER, citation and the need for
upkeep.

With increased awareness, utilization and

understanding, OER could take the place of
traditional textbooks in many classrooms.
