This Checklist for Evaluating Online Tools and Resources is meant to serve as a useful set of questions to for evaluation

tools and resources, particularly for online learning


environments. Space is provided to compare up to four resources/tools. The scope and depth of criteria are adequate to evaluate most online material. However, the list is not
intended to be exhaustive. The user is encouraged to make use of the list on a best fit basis and to add or subtract criteria to meet the needs of his or her teaching/learning context.

and intuitive manner.

flexible/adaptive engagement with material
ACCURACY
The information in the resource is accurate
The resource is free of major content errors and omissions of
