Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that. List any ISTE-S standards that
seem to naturally align with the selected resource.

Standard 2: Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

It allows an individual to use a whiteboard as the basis for a screencast. There are drawing tools with different color “ink” to help
differentiate what is being written down. A person can input pictures into the “slides” in order to help their explanations. There is
a free version as well as versions that can be paid for with more features available.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING

How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the screencasting – you or your
students, and what purpose it will serve.

I would want to create a screencast going over an outline of the week’s lesson and the homework assignments and potential
upcoming tests. It would be beneficial for any students who are absent during the week.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Given the information above, how would the technology integration you described, using the selected resource? (On the
“Value-Added Rating Scale” above)
 Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.

Based on the rubric, I would give it a one. It will be used as a support versus really enhancing the lesson. The way I would use it
would make it geared towards students that had been absent versus all of the students. It would be available to all of the
students, but I don’t know how often they would truly use it, unless it was the only option.
