INTEGRATION IDEA - PORTFOLIOS

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote student-centered learning?

This could promote student based learning because it will allow students to share information via the
application so other students can see and review their peers work. It is a unique way for students to
create portfolios.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I gave this a two because it is a great application to make a portfolio but I do not think it is better than
the old fashion way. Students creating a binder portfolio would allow for them to get creative. They could
draw, write, or even paint information they are trying to relay. With a portfolio, online all you can do its
typical online work. It is still great but wouldn't be my first choice as an educator.
